@chunuonsee16 : My 2020 has been about surrendering, letting go. Letting go of plans I made, expectations I had, a few hopes, a dream or two put on the back burner; letting go of routines, casual lunch dates, big celebrations, and the ease of being outside without a mask on. In 2020 I watched a lot of people I know and love, struggle- physically, mentally, financially. I saw people give up and give in. But I also saw people pull together and stand for others. I saw people give their time, money, empathy, and love to complete strangers. 2020 took a lot from us, but it also gave us a lot. It gave us time to slow down, new perspectives, opportunities to look inward, and the chance to see a new way of living. 2020 for me was about being grateful for what you have and knowing that it is- and always was- enough.
