@chunuonsee16 : My mom moved from Thailand to the US as a student in pursuit of a higher education and better opportunities. My parents insisted I finish school in America for the same reasons. I had planned to do the same for my own family. I’m proud to be Asian American (I’m half Asian, half Caucasian) but these days I hardly recognize America. I’m so extremely saddened and angry by what I’ve seen happening. I know someday we’ll look back on 2020 & 2021 as the years we were kept separated from our loved ones and missed out on so many life experiences while also realizing how bad the racism is in America but what if we could look back and remember this time as the turning point where we all played our parts and fixed the issues- within our immediate circles, our communities, our society as a whole 💖 #stopaapihate #stopasianhate
